My journey in photography began in 2005 when I joined a professional studio and received extensive hands-on training. Through this company, I earned my degree and license in photography, building a strong foundation in studio work and portraiture. After stepping away in 2007 to focus on raising my family, I found myself naturally drawn back to photography—capturing meaningful moments for friends and family reignited my passion.


In 2013, I officially launched La Bella Me Photography, turning my creative vision into a thriving business. Over the years, my work has been published in numerous magazines and recognized with multiple awards and competition wins. I’m proud to maintain a continuous winning streak in pageant headshot competitions—an area where my eye for detail and ability to bring out each subject’s unique beauty truly shine.


In 2024, I felt it was time for a brand that better reflected both my personal style and professional growth, and I rebranded the business as Shannon Rae Photography Co. This new name represents a fresh chapter while continuing the legacy of high-quality, emotive, and award-winning imagery my clients have come to love and trust.

01. How do we book you?

Booking is easy! Just send me a message or call to reserve your session. Please remember- no session date is ever locked in until the retainer id paid. The retainer officially secures your date and is non-refundable. Until your retainer is received, your desired date will remain open and available to other clients. The retainer is 10-50% of your total amount due. Mini sessions must be paid in full  I am happy to answer any questions and get you on the calendar.

 

02. Do you have experince with families and small children?

 

Absolutely! With many years of experience- and as a mom myself to two now teenagers- I know how to connect with kids and keep their attention. Some little ones take time to warm up, and that's totally okay. The more sessions we do together, the more your children will feel comfortable with me, and eventually, they'll be smiling like I'm part of the family.

 

03. Do you have experince with disabilities and elderly clients?

 

Yes, I do. I'm committed to making every session as comfortable and accessible as possible. I'll work with you to make any needed accommodations to suit your loved ones. Over the years, I've developed a strong sense of how to "read the room" and adjust my approach to meet everyone's needs with patience and care.

 

04. Is my payment transferable if i need to reschedule?

 

Yes! Retainers and full payments are transferable to another session within one year of the original invoice date. If we need to postpone or reschedule for any reason that is preventing us from holding the original session date, your payment becomes a credit that can be used toward a future session. Please note that this does not apply to no-shows or cancellations that we did not previously decide on.
